Movement

I've been busy playing a few games and not making stuff in SL lately, but last night I was looking at some old animations. Thought I would post a couple tips and tricks for making realistic looking animations.

1. Don't move one one body part at a time. If you move an arm you will likely move your hips slightly to counterbalance the movement.
2. Don't move directly from position to position. If you move your leg while sitting, you likely move it up and over in an arc (and probably move it past the point then slightly back). You probably also lift it up and then bring it down while you move it sideways.
3. When all else fails - look in a mirror.

If you are making a robot avatar, these rules don't apply. I've also been working on a couple somethings with Eloh and hope to post something tomorrow.
