So the last post, I used the Second Life Release Candidate viewer and turned on renderdefered in the debug menu. I'm pretty impressed with the how good it looks in the latest viewer. I took a couple more screenshots and even updated my profile.
These shots made me realize everyone is going to have to play a ton with their windlight settings once this goes live. Having a ton of ambient light is great for consistent looking avatars, but with shadows turned on...you have no shadows.
