Some futuristic boots and thoughts on the 2.0 client

My friend Lorek of ilogic http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Blacktail%20Ridge/54/55/991, made some incredible sculpted boots, I got to play around with a pre-release pair for the past couple days and they really are amazing to play with, her approach was to make them completely mod, so no buying the same boots four times for different colors, Just tint them how you like them, stretch whatever you want, make the heel wide or thin
.
I went to The Next Day, City of Doom 3. It's a very visually stunning zone with lots of impressive sculptie work.

So it matched the boots well.

I also used the 2.0 client to make myself a set of clothing overlays. You do lose a bit of contrast on the clothing, but you can dye no mod clothing! Just wear them over the layer you want to dye. Just create a transparent layer in gimp/photoshop then add a white layer on top of that and set the opacity to 60%. Upload that file to SL (I used 256x256 for quicker loading) and put it into a shirt, pants and gloves item. Wear that item as an "Add" (Also a way to dye your skin if you wanted to make it a little darker or bluer or whateverer)
Hair: Truth - Isle
Clothing: Graves + 2.0 clothing layer to dye blue.
Boots: ilogic - Pulsar Bewts
Gun: Fairlight
Pose: Katapult - secretagent
